Weekend is about to come and I'm sure you all must be busy in planning the same....Today I'm excited to share a Mixed Media Tag...Without saying a much i will make a quick post this time....

I have used more of greens and blues...and made lot of layers with the use of water colors... acrylics and Gesso...finally got the desired look

Sentiment is computer generated but on the left corner its handwritten. flowers and wooden embellishment is from itsy bitsy. In the background I have used Bo Bunny stamp also. You can find a bit of doodling also... For crafters corner challenge...I have chosen...ribbon/Stamping/Butterfly. I am playing on Moxie Fab World with this Inspirational gift tag.

I love these lines... I feel there's a point where we all have to break all the barriers and spread the wings in this walk of life... I would love to hear your feedback!

Hi!

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and must be busy in creating something awesum!! Well, Today I will make a quick post of an up cycled craft project.

This can be used as a Bag/ Album cover.

I have used lot many supplies from my stash. I was very much inspired from Isha Tripathis way of using washi tapes and tried to do my bit... I have used most of the washi tapes available in my stash and it was fun using them;)
I have used a bit of gesso for the layring and used red acrylic to make it more vibrant.

Life As If Now!

Hi to the blogland!

Today I'm posting something special....It's about ME! I am playing Zeus and Zoe monthly challenge wherein they have mentioned that most of the time we are busy in creating something for others...then why not to create something for yourself! I was quite excited to make something on myself but when I started...i guess... that was the most difficult one to create....my mind...thoughts everything juz down to the zero level....hahah!

Finally I have created a scrapbook LO and just wondering that how is it... will look forward to have your feedback :)

some close ups..This is what I am... throughout my life I always followed 'Live Life QueenSize!" somehow I connect to this quotation! I have this crown charm from quite sometime and I was just wondering where and when to use it....I have chosen a middle row for the crafter's corner this months challenge i.e. Rhinestones/PP/Dies/Punches.

Now my favourite part...I think all of us take care of our loved ones and family like a tree...always ready to give a shed...protecting...loving and supporting...and deep inside we all are full of love....so here's my take on it...life as if now...

Up In The Air!

Hi to the blogland!!

Mercury is rising n rising in delhi and it surely makes me restless...phew!! Today... there's a special LO for a special Man in our world :) From quite sometime my elder one wanted me to create a LO for her DAD!! she came up with her imaginations like....hot air balloon ..clouds and our heart in the middle of sky which always made me smile!
So here's a project imagined by my lil one for her dad.... I surely loved to create it :)

I have sone a lot of layring with gesso...that's one wonder product which I can use endlessly on any project ;) and mettalic acrylic glitter shade in cooper and silver. Heart is handcut and sentiments are stick ons.... clouds again hand cut but with a twist that i have colored the cloud background with fabber castel wax crayons and made upcycled cut outs from the packing thermocol sheet.

 Here comes my favourite part ....Hot Air Balloon!! i have made a cut out and then filled it with twines....hope you will like it :)

 Another Upcycled badge....made out of jam bottle cover...Handpainted with acrylic....for a Super Dad!! Behind the back there's a magnet which can be used lateron as a Fridge Magnet :)

Now on the right side...dad with her two naughtiest daughters....I have done lot of doodling and preferred to keep the sentiments handmade wherever it was possible :)

For My Princess!

Helloooo and Happy weekend to all my fellow bloggers!

Today I am posting something clooooose to my heart. Its a layout made for my lil princess on her 1st birthday! It was a special day for us as she achieved her first milestone in life and i really couldn't connect to how time flies! It's difficult to say anything...but i did whatever I can to treasure the memories for her...

I always get inspired from Brenda's and Ujjwal's Style of using flower's and embellishment's....there's always so much to learn from them. I would like to share Ujjwal's project which inspired me to make a LO for my lil one....

now...this message role is one of my favourite...we have written our personal messages for her...as it was too lengthy I rolled them up and I think it turned out well....

 The teddy which I have used was a pendant once...it was lying in my stash and since then I wanted to use it...so here I got a chance...

and once again the final look of the layout...

For My Love!

Hi to all my blogging friends! Happy Happiiiee Friday to you all...

I believe in celebrating every day as V-day but on 14th yupppp some extra dose of love is very much required :)

Well today I am here to post what I have created on this Valentine!

Though this canvas has nothing to do with the love theme....but every inch of this canvas is inspired and created for him :) I am sooo happy that finally I'm through and he also liked it :)

So i started with this....

Then I thought of playing with some cards....

I have used two aces...painted and quilled...I did lot of layering on my canvas to get that desired feel...and I have also used red mister.

I have drawn it first and  hand painted it with acrylics.

This is the first time I have tried using quilling on Mixed Media Canvas...

I'm Oowlll Urs!

Helllllllooooo!

Thank you so much to all the lovely people for such a wonderful feedback on my Mixed Media canvas! It surely inspires me alot!!

Today I am posting a V- Day card... I'm Oowlll urs! I guess that is the second set of Golden words ( After love U! wink wink!!)

I have used a Red Corrugated E- flute paper to make a heart hand-cut for the center  Complimented with Heart shaped pearl and blings (ohhh I soooo love to use them) and Itsy Bitsy Owl chipboard ( Hand painted). Added two quilled flowers and roses on the same.

For the background...I have used Red Rose patterned paper in polka dots and I just fell in love with this paper when I first saw it! I am happy that finally I have used it! I have also used a set of washi tapes at the bottom.
Sentiment is computer generated and to give a base, duly pasted on Off white Corrugated E- flute paper. On the boarders and on the tag I have done distressing with a blending technique. I hope you will like it.

All We Need Is Love!

Hi to the lovely people in blogland!!

Month of febuaury surely belong to those who listen to their hearts ;) just like me!!

So this month we will all see lot of creativity with love! Today, I am posting my first Mixed media canvas....I am not so sure that how much justice I have done witht he term...will be eagerly waiting for your valuable feedback!

So I started with some acrylics on canvas....

and then I did some layering till the time I got my desired shades. After that I have used lot of distress ink with a blending technique. Also I worked with a Pattern Paper and tried to give an old look by using distress inks.

Now coming on my heart ;) its handcut....I have this paper with me from quite some time and was just thinking how to use it....Though earlier I have used the same many times as a stencil...but this time I have done a cut out of heart and pasted it. I have used lot of Gesso and acrylic colors on my canvas... I wrapped up my heart with a sequence lace...same I have stored since years to use it..(got the same from a candle holder long time back)....above to it...there's a paper doily...again used distress ink with wrinkled look and blending technique on it....complimented with flowers, chipboard, lace and blings:)

On the right side....I have used micia odden stamps purchased from lulupu....I love to work with them!

I worked with Vintage boarder stickers bought from Itsy Bitsy and Handmade with Love Washi Tape (From Lulupu)...Sentiment is handwritten.

Valentine Card

Hellloooo to the blogland! 

As love is in the air....today I am posting a love card made with fancy folds! The front of the card is as follows-

I filled the Heart with quilled flowers and created the background with tape and ribbons. Now we will open it from the center and you will get the second page...

I have used fabric tape, embellishments from Itsy Bitsy, wooden emb. from local shop and wooden stamp from Lulupu. For the first time I have tried stamping and distressing...hope u will like it! Now again u have to open it from the center and taking it backwards so that u can find the third layout in the same card -

Now you will again open it from the center n will get the back of the card...if you open it from the center you will again be directed in the same manner...so this is a card which never ends :)
