Bottle Art!

Hi again,

Another post on a same day ;)

This time it is about DIY altered craft!

There were some old empty wine bottles, which I am sure must be with all of us...somewhere in that little corner.

I wanted to alter them in such a way that these can be used as a smart add ons to my little terrace garden :)

I quoted them with gesso after rubbin g all over with the sand paper. Then I have aplied layers of chalboard paints from Prima and witht he final layer of varnish!

Thanks to Maninder from Rainbow craftykari for helping me out with the tuts and providing all the supplies on time.

Finally i tossed them up with some embellishments!

Hope you will like these!!!

Cheers!

Dream House!

A big hellow to my paper peeps...

I am feeling so good to publish my first post of this year...I was actually missing it sooo much!

It was a tough beginning indeed...I have lost someone close tour family and it was a painful experience...though I wish him peace always...Honestly, it took me time to get back to the usual deeds but I think moving on is the only bitter truth of this life.

Coming back to my post...My daughters keep inspiring me everyday and there dreams keep me motivated all the time....This one is for my elder daughter who wanted something different to relate with her thoughts and imagination...

This is the point from where I have started...few markings to make a base diagram...on a thick cardboard box which I have got from amazon as a packing carton.

Now some cuts  and pasting the cardboard again to give some solid thickness to it...so that it may last long. I have used gesso to all the corners and wherever I wanted to fill the gaps and to give that smooth and thick finish...

There are many pics to upload but I just want to give some quick idea...that how I have incorporated everything... This is where I have added PP

This is the Base made out of the same board...I loved working on this PP...I have used modeling paste with Finnabair Bubble stencil...hope you too would like the effect...

Now Some more close-up's and pics from different angles... I worked with lot of charms on this project :) Hope I have done justice with each of them...

 Half side view:
A cute telephone booth miniature with creative embellishment lamp chipboard

A side view of hut roof.... I am Playing along with Berry71bleu-flower galore and I can not imagine this project without flowers! They have added that depth to it.

Ahaan!! this is the interesting part...Can you spot the bell inside...this can be rang with the help of ribbon...
and this is the top of the bell

 This is how it is....
Few more shots...I know this is quite good no of pics to go through....On the base I have used Moon shadow mist...its so beautiful to work with...

 The Back View.....
 View from the top....

And a final view...Hope you will like this project :) I would love to read your thoughts on this!
